    Bangladesh, is a country situated in the South Asia region, bordering India to the south west and east, Bhutan to the north, Myanmar to the east and Nepal to the northwest.

    This country is not that popular in the fandom however, gaining attraction due to its large population and strength.

    Appearance[modifier | modifier le wikicode]

    Bangladesh is mostly depicted as a female wearing salwar kameez (Muslim clothes for women), a hijab, and their national flower-the shapla (sometimes a light pink ribbon).

    Usually depicted in simple hoodies, T-shirts and pants, but there are also variants with traditional Muslim robes and outfits.

    Since that Bangladesh is one of the isolated countries, they are shown to be shy and wanting to befriend other countries. They are sometimes depicted as a very timid about it's country being one of the most poor and struggling from poverty countries. They try to be friends with most countries and enjoys the nature and tranquility.

    They love music, food that would serve you with the best meals and doing hard works. Even if the job was difficult for them, they would rather take it as an opportunity.

    The flag of Bangladesh is of a red-orange circle located almost to the center, and a green background.

    The disc represents the sun rising over Bengal, and also the blood of those who died for the independence of Bangladesh. The green field stands for the lushness of the land of Bangladesh and the eternal youth of Bangladeshis.

    The Indo-Aryan suffix Desh is derived from the Sanskrit word deśha, which means "land" or "country". Hence, the name Bangladesh means "Land of Bengal" or "Country of Bengal". The term Bangla denotes both the Bengal region and the Bengali language.

    History Bangla emerged as a new Indo-Aryan language by 900-1000 AD through Magadhi apabhramsh and abahattha, two stages of Magadhi prakrit (600 BC - 600 AD), along with two other Indo-Aryan languages, Oriya and Assamese. Until the 14th century, there was little linguistic difference between Bangla and Assamese

    Bangladesh was one of the countries that had the most earliest human settlement. But there is no consensus for the time frame of the first human activity in Bengal nor are there plenty of remains. One view contends that humans entered Bengal from China 60,000 years ago. There are hardly enough information on where nor when it took place and started.

    Before 1947 the Territory Bangladesh was a colony in the composition British India. In the course of its split into two parts in 1947, Bangladesh became part of Pakistan because of the overwhelming Muslim population living on its territory. Bangladesh was annexed to the Pakistan's as a province called East Pakistan with the capital in the city of Dhaka.

    In 1950, East Pakistan underwent land reform, which abolished the centuries-old feudal system. However, despite economic and demographic strength Bangladesh, territorial detachment from Pakistan (approximately 1,600 km), as well as ethnic, linguistic, political and economic differences between the two parts of the State, led to the rise of the national liberation movement in Bangladesh.

    In 1970, powerful cyclones hit the coast Bangladesh and caused the deaths of over half a million people of Pakistan. It has shown a mediocre response in the aftermath of the disaster, causing dissatisfaction among the local population.

    March 26, 1971 War of Independence began in Bangladesh. With active support from India , Bangladesh gained independence from Pakistan December 16, 1971. Most UN Member States Bangladesh is a sovereign country in 1972.

    Post-independence Bangladesh becomes a parliamentary republic. The country is on course to build socialism. In 1972, many industrial enterprises, factories and factories were nationalized.

    on 15 August 1975 Bangladesh had a bloody military coup, resulting in a wave of political assassinations, terror and a series of coups throughout the country. The Constitution was repealed and martial law was imposed.

    The Nationalist Party was founded in September 1978 Bangladesh, as a result of the unification of a number of disparate political organizations on the right, centre and left. Its rule is characterized by economic growth and relative political stability.

    Politics of Bangladesh takes place in a framework of a parliamentary representative democratic republic, whereby the Prime Minister of Bangladesh is the head of government, and of a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and parliament. The Constitution of Bangladesh was written in 1972 and has undergone seventeen amendments.

    The physical geography of Bangladesh is varied and has an area characterized by two distinctive features: a broad deltaic plain subject to frequent flooding, and a small hilly region crossed by swiftly flowing rivers. The plain is part of the larger Plain of Bengal, which is sometimes called the Lower Gangetic Plain.

    • The official name of Bangladesh is the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
    • The word Bangladesh means "Country of Bengal" in the local language.
    • Historically, Bangladesh is prone to monsoon flooding and cyclones due to its unique geographic make up. The country is almost entirely flat and is dominated by the Ganges-Brahmaputra delta where the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers make their way down from the Himalayas and converge on the lowlands.
